Lieut.George T. Rodgers

First Lieutenant Rodgers (110th regiment 28th Infantry Division) was killed on 29 July 1918. A machine gun bullet killed him at the bottom of Grimpette wood hill facing the village of Courmont. (Aisne)
He rests at the Oise-Aisne Cemetery but his sacrifice and the one of his comrades will be in the French heart forever .

Time:	A full day : From 8h30 to 18h00
Your visit:	Morning : 1- Visit to Belleau-Wood, Château-Thierry. (2nd Division sector) 2- Grimpette wood, Courmont and Cierges. (28th Division sector) 3- Stop at the Meurcy Farm, Seringes. (42nd Division sector) 4- American Cemetery of "Seringes et Nesles". Afternoon : 5- Visit to a Champagne House, with tasting. 6- Visit to Reims Cathedral. 7- Tour of the town by bus.
