Alain:

I hope things have slowed down enough for you to be able to enjoy the summer over there. We still think of Normandy, and how much we enjoyed the visit and tour. We constantly think of returning. I go to weather.com's international web site and look at the weather in France. I think I would like the summer's there very much.

Are you still very busy with tours?

The big news for us is that a hurricane came to Pensacola on July 10th. While not as bad as the hurricane last year, our home did sustain damage that will have to be repaired.

I hope things are well with you.

Regards

Alain,

My wife and I had a great experience in Normandy because of your expertise and your passion for this subject. Your tour was great along with the pictures and your knowledge of D-Day and Normandy. The band of brothers tour was outstanding. I enjoyed all the locations and history behind easy-company that you provided.

I would recommend your tours to anyone that wants a first hand view of the D-day and Normandy area. I have passed out your brochures to all my friends here in Germany.

Thanks again for the great tour!!!

Alain,

I wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" for a great day. Our full-day tour of the Omaha/Utah Beach areas (along with the "extra" stops you provided) was more than we could have imagined. Your knowledge of the area, your sense of the history of the events and your passion for your work was evident and made our day a memorable one indeed.

My wife and I are so glad we spent our day with you. Your tour would be appropriate for the knowledgeable student of the period as well as the individual knowing little of the details of the events of D-Day. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to anyone wanting a truly exceptional "day of history". Thank you for a great day!

Alain, I am really glad Chad and I were lucky enough to have you as our guide for the Overlord tour. I am really impressed with you incredible depth of knowlege and your obvious passion for the subject. The only thing that Im sorry for is that We didn't plan for more time. I also have a video tape of Lomell taking of point Du Hoc. Will your video equipment read US video? Thanks very much for the awesome job you did for Us.

Alain - Just a short note to thank you for the absolutely SUPERB tour!! Your passion for history and knowledge of all the events surrounding D-Day made the tour both informative and most enjoyable. I have already told friends who want to visit that they must sign up for your tour!!

I had an item I wanted to give you at the end of the tour but unfortunately forgot. Could you please send me your home address and I will forward it to you! Please keep in touch and Sheryl and I meant were very serious about or offer to host you and your wife here in the Williamsburg/Yorktown/Norfolk - Virginia area. You are always welcome!!

Tom

Hello, Alain,

Just a short email to let you know that I am back safely in the States and that I truly and thoughly enjoyed your Overlord Tour last Wednesday. Your tour was THE highlight of my visit to England and France. I hope the "LIFE MAGAZINE" had some things that you can use. I certainly enjoyed reading it and passing it along to you. Alain, if I can be of any service to you in some form of research over on this side of the Atlantic, let me know. I am going to do some on Toccoa and Currihee. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Anyway, I want to thank you for your enthusiasm for what the American GI did for France. There is no way to express your admiration for the American Soldier any better than to see you there, in the rain, re-living the events unfolding in the scenes before us, flipping through your wonderful notebook pages, and being oblivious to the weather. You never miss a beat. As a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and 1st Division (Big Red One) solidier of that war, I want to thank you for continuing to bring the WWII soldiers and their bravery to life every day. Again, if I can be of some service to you here, let me know.

Hello Alain –

We have just returned to Houston and wish to take a moment to thank you for

your excellent tour services during our visit to Normandie.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Omaha / Band of Brothers Full Day Tour and deeply

appreciated your knowledge and explanations of the various sites as we visited

each of them. We shall not hesitate to introduce our friends and relatives to you

as they make plans in the future to visit Normandie.

With best regards –

Alain,
I have been remiss in writing you to tell you how much Bill and I enjoyed the tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Europe. Bill can’t wait to go back and do another tour. He has told everyone he has seen especially if they are planning a trip to France to be sure and contact you for a tour. He can’t wait to get one of your DVDs or CD when they are available. Take care. Sorry I haven’t sent this to your earlier.

Rick, Karen, and Matthew Hall

I want to take a moment and thank you for a wonderful and meaningful tour of The D-Day Invasion beaches and the Band of Brothers tour that my wife and son and I took the first week of June. The Cemeteries, the gun emplacements, and the battlefields were and are, hallowed ground. I was moved by each and every location you took us to. I was especially moved by Brecourt Manor, so much in fact that both my son and I forgot to take photos of the area were Easy Co. took out the 4-105mm guns that were there.

I have included some pictures that we did take for you to enjoy or use for your literature or your website. I do have one question... what was the village where the two medics used the church as an aid station and where the mayor made the town the sister city to Toccoa?

Kindest Regards and best wishes!

Sister Mary Dominica (nee Ren

Dear Alain,
I have thought of you so many times since we have been home. I know Sister
Marie Janae intends to be in touch with you once the girls' camp is over, but
meanwhile, since Sr. Mary Julianna gave us your greetings today, I thought I should
write and thank you again for our wonderful day in Normandy. I was deeply interested
in everything you had to tell us, and I know you could have told us so much more, if we
had more time. God willing, we will meet again someday!
May He bless you, dear friend!
